Overview
These terms describe the general basis on which AA Tree Services Sydney provides quotes, scheduling, and tree-work services.
Specific project details may also be confirmed in a written quote, invoice, or service agreement before work begins.
Quotes, Scope, And Variations
Quotes are based on the information available at the time of inspection or enquiry. If site conditions, access, tree condition, hidden risks, approvals, or job scope differ materially from what was initially described, the quote may need to be revised.
Written quotes should be read together with any listed inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, and notes about debris removal, stump grinding, council approval, or access requirements.
- Service type and tree description
- Site access assumptions
- Debris removal or stump grinding inclusions
- Any exclusions, limitations, or approval conditions
Site Access And Safety
Clients must provide safe access to the site and disclose any known hazards, restrictions, or relevant conditions before work begins.
Tree work may need to be postponed, paused, or rescheduled if weather, access, traffic, neighbouring property conditions, or safety conditions make the job unsuitable on the planned date.
- Locked gates, restricted driveways, or shared-access issues
- Dogs, tenants, neighbours, or other site-access constraints
- Power lines, pools, fragile surfaces, or special property risks
- Any other condition that could affect safety or access
Approvals, Boundaries, And Permissions
It is the client’s responsibility to confirm whether council approval, strata approval, landlord consent, or any other permission is required before protected tree work proceeds unless the written agreement states otherwise.
If a tree is on or near a boundary, any ownership, access, or neighbour-consent issues should be clarified before work is booked.
Underground And Hidden Services
Clients should identify any known underground services, irrigation, concealed structures, drainage, retaining walls, or access constraints that could affect stump grinding, removals, or other work.
Scheduling, Weather, And Delays
Booking dates are estimates and may change if weather, emergency callouts, access conditions, equipment availability, or crew safety requirements affect the planned schedule.
Urgent hazardous work may need to take priority over planned jobs where safety is involved.
Payments
Payment timing and method should follow the written quote or invoice terms supplied for the job.
If staged work, additional services, or approved variations are required, those items may be invoiced separately in line with the agreed scope.
Liability And Australian Consumer Law
AA Tree Services Sydney takes reasonable care when carrying out work, but liability remains subject to the terms of the agreed scope, site conditions, hidden defects, information provided by the client, and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
