Sydney Arborists

Tree work planned around real Sydney sites

Clear quotes, careful scope, and work planned around access, structures, cleanup, and the result you need.

Most people call us because something has changed — a tree is leaning after a storm, roots are cracking the driveway, branches are scraping the roof at night, or a hedge has blocked the view entirely. The job is usually more involved than it looks, which is why every quote starts with an honest site assessment and a clear price.

AA Tree Services Sydney plans the work around the access, the structures nearby, and the result you need. The crew stays focused on a safe, clean finish — not just getting the tree down.

  • Crane-assisted removals and sectional dismantling in tight access
  • Pruning to Australian Standard AS 4373 — deadwood, clearance, canopy shaping
  • Stump grinding to 200–300mm below ground for turf or paving
  • Hedge trimming and reshaping up to 10+ metres with EWPs
  • Council tree preservation order advice before you lodge a DA
  • Future bookings by email or WhatsApp until Thursday 9 July 2026

Why AA Tree Services

Why Sydney property owners keep coming back

Fixed pricing, practical advice, careful work, and a site you can actually use when we leave.

Fixed price before we touch the tree

Send photos, get a written quote. We break down the method, stump grinding, and debris disposal so you know exactly what you are paying for. No surprises on the day.

Work planned before the crew starts

The quote covers the method, access, nearby structures, cleanup, and any stump grinding so the crew and client are aligned before work begins.

Tight access is what we do best

Narrow side gates, rear-only access, trees wedged between townhouses — we section-fell and crane out timber where other crews walk away from the job.

Pruning to AS 4373, not hat-racking

Proper reduction cuts, targeted deadwood removal, and canopy lifting that keeps the tree healthy. If lopping makes more sense, we will say so upfront.

Closed for onsite work until 9 July

We are away overseas for this period. Email or WhatsApp for future bookings and we will schedule regular onsite work after we return.

Clear communication from quote to cleanup

You get a written scope, practical advice, and a finished site that is safe, clean, and ready to use again.

Our Process

How we quote and complete your tree job

From first photo to final cleanup — four steps, no runaround.

01

1. Send photos — get a fixed price

Text or upload photos of the tree, the access path, and anything nearby (fences, power lines, buildings). We reply with a written quote covering the method, price, and timeframe — usually within hours.

02

2. We confirm the scope on site

For larger or more complex jobs we inspect in person — checking overhead lines, root zones, drop clearance, and whether the job needs a crane, EWP, or controlled sectional dismantle.

03

3. The work is carried out carefully

The crew works to the agreed scope, controlling limbs around structures, chipping green waste on site, and grinding stumps below ground level when that is part of the job.

04

4. Site left clean and usable

All timber, mulch, and debris removed or stacked as agreed. The property is raked, blown down, and ready to use. If council follow-up is needed, we point you to the right step.

Five core services: tree removal (including emergency and crane-assisted), tree pruning, tree lopping for heavy canopy reduction, hedge trimming, and stump grinding. We work across Greater Sydney for homeowners, strata, builders, and commercial sites.

We cover all of Greater Sydney — 12 regions and over 400 suburbs including the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills District, Parramatta, Ryde, St George, Sutherland Shire, Western Sydney, South West Sydney, and the CBD. In most cases, yes. Sydney councils protect trees above a certain trunk diameter, height, or species. Dead or hazardous trees sometimes qualify for exemptions, but the rules vary by council — always check first.

Our council approval guide covers the process for the main Sydney councils.

Send photos of the tree, the access path (driveway or side gate), and anything nearby — fences, power lines, buildings. Text them to 0497 777 735 or upload via our quote form. We reply with a written fixed price, usually the same day.

Yes — 24/7, including weekends and public holidays. Fallen trees, storm damage, split trunks, hanging branches. Call 0497 777 735 immediately and describe the situation. We prioritise safety and access first, then handle the full cleanup.

It depends on the tree and the site. A small tree in an open yard might be a few hundred dollars. A large eucalyptus near a house requiring crane access could be several thousand. The main cost drivers are tree size, access difficulty, proximity to structures, and whether stump grinding is included.

Our tree removal cost guide gives realistic Sydney pricing ranges.

Pruning is selective — removing specific branches for health, shape, or clearance. Lopping is heavier — cutting back large sections of canopy for height or size reduction. Both are valid depending on the tree, the goal, and the space available.

Our guide on tree lopping vs pruning explains when each applies.

Most residential removals are completed in a single day — sometimes half a day for smaller trees. Large or complex jobs requiring crane work, difficult access, or stump grinding may take longer. We confirm the timeframe in the quote so there are no surprises.

Yes. ABN 84 908 231 900 is available on request, and insurance details can be supplied before work starts when you need them for strata, builder, or property records.
